Now serving as Pastor at Temple Baptist for his 28th year, Dr. Paul Downey has announced his retirement effective as of the end of 2026. We are so grateful for his and Sherry’s service to our church for almost three decades! This long tenure speaks for itself to demonstrate how impactful their service has been to our church family. We praise the Lord for this stability and unity of our church family for such a long period of time.
We are now in the process of searching for our next Pastor, the man of God’s choosing to lead Temple Baptist into our next chapter as a church body. In accordance with our church Constitution, we have elected a Pulpit Committee (aka Pastor Search Committee) to lead the process of identifying our next Pastor.
