Temple Baptist Church exists for the following purposes:
Worship: to exalt and glorify God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, His Son, in all things through corporate worship and the preaching of the Word of God;
Discipleship: to commit ourselves to the life-long process of discipleship in pursuit of spiritual maturity by exhorting, edifying, and equipping believers for service through the study of and obedience to God’s Word;
Evangelism: to proclaim the authoritative gospel of Jesus Christ and demonstrate its life-changing power of salvation through evangelizing the lost by fulfilling the Great Commission according to the New Testament pattern of Acts 1:8;
Fellowship: to enjoy the presence of God’s family in the spirit of Christian love through encouragement, support, and fellowship;
Stewardship: to wisely use for His service the resources that God has provided.
